General Trade Show Advice

Trade Show Graphics:

• Image Resolution for Large Format Graphics: 100DPI
• Color Mode: CMYK
• Don’t forget to include bleeds for trimming, typically 1/2″ on all sides
• Font Sizes (72 points = 1″ tall). If you want your text to be read from 15-20 feet away, make it at least 4-5″ tall
• For color matching, use Pantone Colors
• If your graphics will be printed on several panels to form one large graphic area, make sure you know where the panel seams are and avoid text being cut in half whenever possible.

Writing Display Content:

• Keep text to a minimum, “less is more”
• Catch the viewers attention and send a message in no more than 3 seconds
• Avoid overused buzz words
• Use eye catching imagery
• Be unique, don’t be afraid to try something new that hasn’t been done before
